Good Medieval Fantasy Novels?

Any of Tamora Pierce's books; they're all medieval fantasy. They're technically YA, but they're written so well they could be adult novels. No stupid sparkly vampires or werewolves. The Trickster's Choice duet or the Beka Cooper trilogy are probably her best, and the diction is so medieval, I often find my inner monologue speaking in period after reading them. :)
