Looking for a song from the 90's?

Hi I'm looking for a top billboard song I believe is from the 90's. It's a soft ballad and the main instrument is an acoustic guitar. I believe a man sings it but he don't have a heavy voice a very soft one to be precise (reminds me of the lead singer of Take that). Imo the song sought of remind me of those you would hear at those Medieval /Renaissance fairs. Can any one help me?
